 | We invite you to join us once again for a great evening of folk and acoustic music with great people in a cosy welcoming atmosphere.
Due to the popularity of our Folk Club, and following requests
for a more regular evening, we are happy to announce that
we will be hosting the night on the first and third Wednesday
of every month from now on where circumstances allow.
Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
A high quality PA and microphones are provided.
We can amplify electro acoustic guitars and basses, fiddles,
woodwind, brass and electric keyboards
but no electric guitars, amps or backing tracks please
if you want that type of stuff
why not come to our Free and Easy - every Sunday at 6-ish
Please arrive early to ensure that we can book you a slot
and hook up your instruments.
Dave Bennett and Howard Lincoln are now regular contributors and
we hope to be welcoming back old friends like Sean and James Cannon
of The Dubliners in the future
We're also made up and pleased to say that the fantastic band
The Oddsods did us another great Friday Live spot recently
We're hoping to host similar stuff
