SUMMARY:OneGr8Day
DESCRIPTION:NEW BAND NOT TO BE MISSED\nSaturday 3rd February 2024\n\n\nOne Gr8 Day\n\n\nDeb – vocals\nDeb has always been a singer. She began her professional singing career at\n18 when she decided to just max out her first credit card with the purchase of a\nMarshall PA System\, made a few phone calls to a handful of agents and off she\nwent into the scary world of working men’s clubs and pubs.\nThis she did for 4 years and its definitely something she recommends to all new\nperformers\, as if you can withstand that industry you can perform anywhere\,\nand it will also give you the much required sense of humour that you will need\nin this business.\nDeb has been in many function / tribute bands over the years and eventually\nmet Mick & Stu when they went to watch hew perform with a Fleetwood Mac\ntribute band. They were looking for a female singer for a new project and Deb\nwas recommended by fellow musicians\, they started talking after the gig and\nwithin weeks Deb had joined forces with them to form an Amy Winehouse\ntribute band and a function band (One Gr8 Day).\nMick – Bass\, vocals & sound engineer\, Stu – Drums.\nMick and Stu have been playing in bands with each other for nearly 15 years.\nThey first started to work together way back in 1996 when they met at a local\nrehearsal studio in Tamworth and formed a covers band. At various times\nbetween 1996 and 2006 they all got married and had children\, which meant\nleaving the band whilst taking on their new role as proud fathers. In 2006 they\njoined forces with Deb to form a function band and began working with such\nclients as Navartis\, Platinum Live\, West End Studios\, Barclays\, Lotus and\nBanks Sadler\, taking in countries such as Rome\, Paris\, Rhodes\, Tenerife and\nPortugal playing along side such artists as Midge Ure\, Barry Gibb\, Dodgy and\nKWS.
