Deb – vocals
Deb has always been a singer. She began her professional singing career at
18 when she decided to just max out her first credit card with the purchase of a
Marshall PA System, made a few phone calls to a handful of agents and off she
went into the scary world of working men’s clubs and pubs.
This she did for 4 years and its definitely something she recommends to all new
performers, as if you can withstand that industry you can perform anywhere,
and it will also give you the much required sense of humour that you will need
in this business.
Deb has been in many function / tribute bands over the years and eventually
met Mick & Stu when they went to watch hew perform with a Fleetwood Mac
tribute band. They were looking for a female singer for a new project and Deb
was recommended by fellow musicians, they started talking after the gig and
within weeks Deb had joined forces with them to form an Amy Winehouse
tribute band and a function band (One Gr8 Day).
Mick – Bass, vocals & sound engineer, Stu – Drums.
Mick and Stu have been playing in bands with each other for nearly 15 years.
They first started to work together way back in 1996 when they met at a local
rehearsal studio in Tamworth and formed a covers band. At various times
between 1996 and 2006 they all got married and had children, which meant
leaving the band whilst taking on their new role as proud fathers. In 2006 they
joined forces with Deb to form a function band and began working with such
clients as Navartis, Platinum Live, West End Studios, Barclays, Lotus and
Banks Sadler, taking in countries such as Rome, Paris, Rhodes, Tenerife and
Portugal playing along side such artists as Midge Ure, Barry Gibb, Dodgy and
KWS.
